PhD Anthropology UC Santa Barbara Fluent in Hmong, worked in Fresno with refugees, 16 years in Laos with UNHCR (living with refugees, dealing with officials and generals), Director of Asian Women's Shelter (SF) my oldest friend in the world (from age 2), one of the most wonderful women I've ever known (among a host of truly amazing women including several of you classmates), a kindred spirit and alter ego, gracious and unassuming, warm and inviting, uncomplaining to the end.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of our classmate and friend, Liz. We shared a couple of classes and worked on a few committees in high school. I feel very honored that I shared some memories and stories with her and Kathy at our reunion. My prayers and condolences go out to her family.
