David Paul Traverso
Beloved husband of Ellese, married 34 years, departed this life on December 11, 2016 at his home in San Mateo. He is survived by his loving wife and four children, Tory, Codie, Jonathan and Nicholas. Dave was blessed with two grandchildren Joey and Deana. Born in San Mateo on November 23, 1947 to Tory and Mickey Traverso, one of ten children. Raised in Belmont, Dave is also deeply loved and remembered by his brothers and sisters, Richard, Dan, Kathy, Jim, Teresa, Jeanette and Michelle. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Tony and sister Julie. Dave was a family man of great integrity and strength.
He proudly served in the US Navy during Vietnam on the USS Enterprise for 3 1/2 years. He spent the next 35 years in the family business, Adco.
His children will remember him as a loving father with a wonderful sense of humor. Dave will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will begin at 10:30am on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Crippen & Flynn Carlmont Chapel, 1111 Alameda de las Pulgas in Belmont. Interment will be at 1:30pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1500 Mission Road in Colma. Sign the guestbook at www.crippenflynn.com.
